2010 - Present - Locanda De Gusti (Head Chef) Rosario has gone back to what he does best, bringing wonderful ideas from the kitchen to the table. Locanda is about getting back to basics, concentrating on delighting his guests with his culinary skills. Rosario earned the coveted AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence in June 2010 and for 2011-2012 Rosario has now earned his second AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence. 2007 - Bella Mbriana (Head Chef) Bella was Rosario's brainchild after huge success with his first venture La Partenope. Earning rave reviews and a plethora of awards including Scottish Italian Restaurant of the year 2009, Chef of the year 2009 and inclusion on The List magazine's Hit-List. Bella was ranked in the top 10 places in Scotland to visit by Peter Irvine author of 'Scotland the Best'. |
2000 - La Partenope (Head Chef)
La Partenope was Rosario's first venture. He made a small restaurant into a reference point for Italian food creating dishes that challenged the norm of pizza and pasta that has hidden true Italian Cuisine. La Partenope was also featured in the Michelin and Hardens guide book coupled with countless entries on The List magazine's Hit-List.
1988 - Jolly Restaurant (Chef)
Rosario was part of the BBC programme celebrating 100 years of the margherita pizza. His flair caught the eye of producers who made him the centrepiece of the celebration.
