We are an exciting Southern Italian Restaurant situated on East London Street at the foot of Broughton Street in Edinburgh.

Locanda De Gusti came from the Latin word De Gusti Bus which means 'a matter of taste'. Literally Locanda is a place where you can come and taste good food and wine.

We aim to influence our guests by introducing the true taste of southern Italian cuisine by using only Scottish prime produce served by multi award winning chef Rosario Sartore.

Our menu changes weekly. We pride that our dishes are artisan made by using the best of Italian, local and Scottish produce we are a Neapolitan restaurant not the typical British Italian. All our dishes are made fresh to order.

Our lunch menu is available Monday - Friday 12.00 until 14.30 & Saturday 12.00 until 14.30. Pre - Theatre menu available from 5pm - 7pm Monday to Friday.

Dinner service starts Tuesday - Friday at 5pm to 10.30pm. Why not enjoy a bite to eat outside or an espresso relaxing in the beautiful yet rare Scottish summer sun watching life go by, La Dolce Vita.
